For the HoffGlitter poster we decided to recreate Mariah’s Glitter poster. Katherine is finishing it up right now and it looks soooo good. but here is the photo that we picked to use from the photo shoot we did tonight. Yeah Mariah Yeah!

I have my website displayed on the back of my car (katgallery.net) and people in my apartment building have asked where my gallery is and I say that its online, it’s not a physical space. But now KatGallery is going to become physical and have it’s first exhibition in November with the Preview Event Thursday, November 20, 2008, 5:30-7 pm and the Opening Friday, November 21....
CUPCAKE CRAWL!
Today was our cupcake crawl in DC. Lauren, Katherine, Alicia and Tom joined me. Our 10 hour trip included Cake Love, Georgetown Cupcake, Baked n Wired, and Sticky Fingers Bakery.
CUPCAKE CRAWL!
Tomorrow I am doing cupcake research for my paintings in DC with 4 of my friends. We are going to 4 bakeries: Cake Love, Georgetown Cupcake, Baked ‘n Wired and Sticky Fingers Bakery. I still need 16 cupcakes to finish my charcoal drawings but if I don’t get them all tomorrow I can get the rest in Bmore.

yellow bean bag installation.
So my new project is an installation recreating the room that I was conceived in. I just finished a drawing of it recently. I have an old polaroid to work from. Today I ordered the yellow bean bag, a rose print that is really close to the one on their wall, I will still need to buy a cheap black frame for it when it gets here and then I found a full length cheval mirror for only $15 on craigslist....
i am starting to get bruised from being dropped so...
