I went to look up when my friend Emily died before I wrote her parents and it turns out it was 10 years ago today. Pretty crazy that it just happens to be today. I just had a 7.5 hour date with the cop.
He was sweet, affectionate, was totally into me, asked me just as many questions about me as I did him, and was a total gentleman. His excuse for standing me up 5 months ago was that he had no excuse, he just admitted he was an idiot. I said I agreed.
